Update about my Sentinel.
After 10 hours gambling the unit, I decided to keep it and make a course on it.
It's so far the unit I feel saftiest with, several alarms and a huge electronic package makes it in my opinion the saftiest unit today. Also very efficient scrubber is according test datas the champion on the market.
Negative points: his weight from +- 40 KG dive ready needs in my crashed neopren suit even 10 KG lead, wich is quite alot. But not sooo much more than with Ouroboros...
Also VR technology was over taken from Avon Rubber, which leads that lots of owners wants to get rid of it and decreases the prices on second hand market dramatically.
Luckily a new CCR compy named VMS for Vobster Marine Systems made deal with Avon to service, spare parts service and even building of new units, see the light in March 2014.

Sentinel ECCR

My new unit purchased very cheap in "new condition" and factory service. Serial N° 142 without optocom.

First impression: what a complicate english machine, but after dissasemble & reassemble it a few times I'm not scared anymore. It's quite easy to handle. Dived it last year in Switzerland with Nadir Qarta, so I know that WOB is good. Will report more when I get the time to dive it.

Technical datas:

Weight without tanks ready to travel: 30KG
Weight complete ready to dive with lead: 40KG
Scrubber time: 185' at 40m and 160' at 100m with 2.2 KG Sofnolime (best of market today 2013)
Tanks 2x 2L
Trimix deco
HUD and secondary PPO2 display

Liquivison X1 -The Ultimate Diving Machine

An interesting computer in case you want it "stand alone", means without O2 sensor connection. Good for any serious Eccr like MEG, Inspo or other units without deco computer. Or simply as back up. I like the robust finish, de OLED display and the small case without any buttons.
